AEVA – ASSOCIACAO PARA A EDUCACAO EVALORIZACAO DA REGIAO DE AVEIRO
AEVA – Associação para a Educação e Valorização da Região de Aveiro (Association for Education and Development of the Aveiro District) is a non-profit organization. It was founded in 1998, intervening in the education and development resources. It is the present owner of EPA – Escola Profissional de Aveiro – VET School of Aveiro, which started in 1992.
EPA acts at a regional level and its vocational training curricula is aiming to bridge business needs in the region defined in the yearly inquiry. It provides nowadays training for 1121 students in apprenticeship courses (799 trainees in level IV and 322 trainees in level II); including 112 Students with special needs, in the following Level IV curricula:
– Renewable Energies
– Electronics, automation and robotics
– Electronics and telecommunications
– Electricity
– Hygiene, Health and Security at the Work Place and the Environment
– Sociocultural Entertainment
– Communication, Marketing, Public Relations and Advertising
– Organization of Events
– Early Childhood Services
– Industrial Maintenance
EPA IN THE WORLD
EPA is certified, under the Quality Certification NP EN ISO 9001:2008, since 30 March 2009, and under the International Social Responsibility Certification SA: 8000, since 16 July 2013. For the last 14 years EPA has developed 94 European projects, covering different topics and involving over 27 countries. Since 2002, 148 trainees of different vocational courses have been placed in working training programmes in Spain, France, UK and Italy under The Program of Leonardo of the Vinci Mobility and Erasmus +. Furthermore EPA is certified in this Program LdV Mobility since 2010 and has the VET Mobility Charter 2015-1-PT01-KA109-013175. AEVA-EPA is also an ECO – School and the protection of the environment and the promotion of sustainable environment is a must in our environmental educational practices.
VsI Inovaciju biuras (Innovation Office) creates supportive environment for people’s activity, creativity and innovations. Organization invites to participate in different courses, seminars, workshops, and other events. Hence people could gain more knowledge and be more creative and more confident in different situations. As well we encourage people to be active, more creative and do not give up. We work with youth in order to gain real experience by developing different projects. Innovation Office acts as incubator for good ideas.
Innovation Office encourages people to make changes step-by-step, in order to grow innovations inside themselves.
Furthermore Our organization consists of very enthusiastic members, other people (more than 200) are involved in organization activities in non-formal way. Institution has flat organizational structure with elements from team and network organizations.
Since 2008, ShipCon has participated in the development and implementation of LIFE+, H2020, MED, Erasmus, FP7, ENPI MED, Erasmus+ & LLP projects. Moreover, ShipCon has successfully organised Grundtvig IST seminars for adult educators as well as other type of projects, such as Grundtvig Learning partnerships and Multi-lateral (ML) projects. The company has organised more than 30 international seminars in the last six years; in particular in the area of entrepreneurship, innovation, emotional intelligence, project management, among others.

I-Box Create is a start-iup from Valencia (Spain) created in 2013 and specialized in Strategic Innovation Management. They have achieved the “SME Innovative Label” by performing own R&D and Innovative Training projects.
The company operates in all the necessary lifecycle activities of Innovation: technological surveillance, identifying opportunities, internal and external consulting, creative process, lobbying and intermediary between research organizations and entities, preparation of proposals, monitoring and justification, technology transfer activities and tax deductions.
IBOXC is devoted to Social Innovation projects and activities development, by its own or in collaboration with other entities especially those related with:
- Entrepreneurship based on new technologies and gamification
- Sustainable Environment
- Women Empowerment (salary gap, gender equality, STEM)
PIATTAFORMA SUD is a Calabria Region ESF accredited Agency and a center for culture, research and development actions in the Mediterranean. It is a non-profit organization which aims to design and to implement cultural, educational initiatives and growth for young people, adults, workers and entrepreneurs. By involving a wide network of contacts Platform SUD deals with event organization, training,business development, ICT, land development, and international projects.
